When you are doing a comparison between different condos in Bothell it can get very confusing when you look at one after the other. They all have different features and amenities and there can be quite a price difference from one to another. Here are some helpful tips to help you compare condos and help take some of the confusion out of it.

1. Take notes

As you are traveling around and comparing condos in Bothell have a notepad and pen handy. The only way you’re going to really be able to compare the condos you see is by taking careful notes and then examining each condo one by one later.

2. Compare the square footage

Find out what the exact square footage is for the condos you are visiting. It can be very misleading to try and figure out on your own which Bothell condo is bigger than another.

3. Write down the amenities

What types of amenities are included with your condo? Does it have some services that you would never use and you’d be paying extra for? Get a list of all the amenities the condo offers during each visit.

4. Take notes on the community

Find out everything you can about the neighborhood and write it down in your notebook. What types of restaurants, shopping and recreational centers are located nearby? Does public transportation run near the condo? Is there a church nearby? These are the types of things you should look for in your community when you are comparing condos in Bothell.

5. Look at the costs of the utilities

Some condos include the cost of utilities while in other cases you will have to pay them on your own. If you’re comparing one condo that includes utilities to a condo that doesn’t, add the cost of utilities onto the monthly mortgage payment to make a better comparison.

6. Compare the prices

When you’re doing your condo comparison you’re going to have to add the condo fees into the price. The best way to do this is to figure out your mortgage payments and then add the fees to this monthly figure.

Comparing condos in Bothell can be a difficult task or an easy one if you simply take along a notebook and a pen. For more information about buying or selling a condo in Bothell contact Adrian Willanger 206 909-7536.
